Initial Consultation

The first point of contact is considered by us one of the most important processes of the project. It is essential to us that we build a solid and trusting relationship from day one. Our clients should feel comfortable to pick up the phone at any point if they have any questions, queries or concerns.

Our consultants will talk you through the advantages of our web design experience and what benefits it can bring to your business. We are sure at this point that you will feel confident that we are the right choice for your web solutions.

Project Planning

Nobody knows your business better than you, so the planning process consists of you spending time deciding what you would like to achieve from the project. Your customers are obviously your main priority so design a layout were you can highlight the main strengths of the company so customers know what you're about straight away.

A good way to get started is to view the sites of your competitors and critique them. Select ideas that stand out and you would like to incorporate on your site. You will also easily identify areas that you don't like so please highlight them to us also.

The more time you spend planning the quicker and easier it will be to get your site up and running. Of course we will be available at any point to give advice and direction to help get the project underway.

Project Specification

Now that we have the plans in place, a member of our team will draw up a 'Project Specification' so we both know what the process involves. As mentioned above it is your business so it is essential that you are happy with all aspects of your website.
Your specification document covers the following points:

DesignWeb Site StructureWeb Traffic Reports, Web Site Hosting & Cost

Design

Your new website will be professionally designed with onsite optimisation for search engine indexing. We will use any branding and preferred colour schemes throughout the site so that it's in keeping with your offline marketing and promotional items. Please note that we will rely on you to provide us with all content and imagery for the site or we can offer this at a small extra charge. The design we provide for you will adhere to accessibility guidelines, will be quick to download and compatible with all major browsers.

Structure of the web site

This will be the proposed structure of your website and will be completely individual to your company. We never use 'off the shelf templates' so your website will catered to suits your needs.

Web Traffic Reports

We will install Google Analytics Reports into your website to allow you to access site statistics on a daily basis. Information available includes unique visitors, their location, how they found your site, which pages they viewed and much more.

Hosting

Your web site will be hosted on an up to date server that is regularly monitored and the latest security patches installed. Hosting charges are applied annually.

Cost

A breakdown of costs and payment terms will then be available for the customer including design & development.

Project Development

As soon as you are satisfied with the project specification the design development can begin.

Firstly we will search and purchase a suitable, pre-agreed domain name or website URL (http://www.yourbusiness.com) which will be your address on the internet so your website can be located.

Your project specification will then be handed over to our specialist web designers. The designer will receive imagery, preferred colours, and an extensive review of your company including industry, target audience, primary demographic, competitors, main objective, proposed structure, etc. Using this information the designer will then provide you with a professional graphic concept of your website home page. Blue Monkee will at no point push ahead in the project unless you are 100% happy with this concept. Your Project Manager will liaise between yourself and designer until both parties are happy to proceed.

Your designer will then continue with the web page production by converting a site concept, whether a sketch or a complete JPEG image, into a finished unique webpage template.

When website construction is complete the content will need to be added, this is your opportunity to optimise the full potential of the site. Through your extensive knowledge of your business you can focus on the best way to sell your product (s) to your customers. The quicker and the more detail you include at this point the quicker you will have the end solution.

We will always be available if you require any advice or help.

Project Management

A dedicated Consultant will be on hand at all times to cater for all questions and queries you may have and to offer any help and professional guidance they can. This will be from initial contact until the site goes live and beyond.

After Care Service

We consider this as a relationship and not a quick sale. Blue Monkee therefore will continue to be in contact with our customers after their websites go live. For the first month we will be on hand to make any minor adjustments to the site if and when required.

Blue Monkee will also arrange a further consultation after 6 months to discuss the effectiveness of your site. We can peruse analytical reports to see the traffic your site has received. At this stage you may want to add additional content and functionality. We will of course discuss and strategise accordingly.
